A spark, a flash, a sudden heat,
When plans go wrong, when life feels sweet
But then turns sour, a twisted knot,
A quick, hot temper, what we've got.
Words spill out, like angry rain,
Sharp and bitter, causing pain.
To friends, to loved ones, near and far,
Leaving shadows, a hurtful scar.
It stings them deep, it wounds us too,
This fire inside, we wish we knew
How to tame it, how to hold it back,
Before our words leave a bitter track.
