Summer's Gone Poem by Jabil Manandhar

Summer's Gone

Rating: 5.0

Summer's gone,
Like unpredictable friend!
Have we met before?
Or it looks like a dream!
An old dream,
Now I don't do these days!

Yesterday we felt the winter
As it gently passed by
Snowing on my shoulder
And over your long blond hair
You looked so beautiful
'Comfort yourself', I said
But you wanted to make a home

There must be somewhere!
The final and ultimate precursor
Or in the depth of our confused mind?
When I saw those eyes
And heard saying,
'Every thing's settle! '
Or so we pretended?
For this beautiful beginning,

Hours and hours uncounted
Talked about ourselves
With our finger locked
But the winter cried,
And made me shiver

It seems like a million years;
To see the next summer
Your ride waiting in the next frame!
Ready for an empty space?
Summer's gone,
That's what I felt,
The chill is everywhere
