Farewell, farewell the ancient Cambridge,
Loving, feeding and nourishing your children
With knowledge, wisdom and intelligence,
But, tired not you at all, even after eight hundred years
Green, elegant and beautiful clothes you spread out
With river cam as your robe; forming a marvelous city,
Invaluable jewels you possess, the colleges
Like a stream of water I joined
Flowed with your rhythm of life,
But now, flowing out into the sea of world.
