Farewell Toe A Friend Poem by fico espiritu

Farewell Toe A Friend

You were always with me whether it's thick or thin
You always filled my shoes in comfort and in vain
And Wherever I go, you are where I would be
You're not only a friend, you are a part of me

The thought of losing you, simply I could not bear
But finally I did and you're not anywhere
No matter where I look you are nowhere around
It saddens me so deep that we did have to part

(reply)

I have sent you the signs that I was much in vain
I was sick in my bed, numbing and felt the pain
You did not heed my plea, nor a doctor let me see
You simply did not mind, in pain just let me be

In grief you ask me now why did I have to go
Though you know who's to blame, it is not me but you
You just looked upon me as a A NAIL IN YOUR TOE
A useless square inch keratin is what I was to you
