Farmboy Poem by Dorsey Baker

Farmboy

You come from the farm
boy you're in the city
boy aint no fields to plow
aint no fields to plow
you come from the farm boy
you say
all you want to do
is milk a cow
farm boy
you wear a big
straw hat
and you're all
dressed up
in your farm boy
clothes
come out and
catch the rooster
before it crows
farm boy
you work that mule
until it fall down dead
farm boy
you're walking down the road
your farm house
is just a few miles
up ahead!
