Fascinated By Famous People Poem by Hebert Logerie

The world is fascinated by fame
And that's an insane shame
Notoriety prevails
And substance is assailed
The words of the Pope
Is glamorized like a new dope
Like kratom or some e-cigarettes
Like e-files, opiods or idiots
I am sorry to say only fools
Take dangerous drugs for pleasure
I called them toxic tools
Like deadly guns which can devour.

Many times, it's not what is said
The perplexing thing is who said
It. The world has a queen
And is consistently searching
For an almighty king
Such as Prince or Michael Jackson
Because their simple words used to go viral
Endlessly. Whatever they touched was gold
They were deified; they were idols
To countless fans who were not bold
Enough to simply appreciate or applaud them
Thank God, not all of us are willing to swim in the dam
The world is fascinated by celebrities
By quantities and not by qualities
Many well known people are glamorized
For the wrong or dicey reasons and idolized
For nonsense and superfluous things
Always remember that only God is the King of kings.
