Fat And Thin Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

Fat And Thin

Like the wealth of capitalistic societies,
fat gets concentrated in fewer bellies.

Look at the fatty baby,
day by day it is becoming heavy.
I can notice an undernourished one over there,
it is starving (not dieting)due to lack of food and water.
The former suffers from over-nourishment related disease,
while deficiency curbs the latter with ease.

Who tells equality is for every child?
Uneven distribution has become untamable wild!
