They Are My... Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

They Are My...

Rating: 5.0

When I am thirsty, they feel the thirst.
When I am hungry, they feel the hunger.
When I am hurt, they feel the pain.
When I am unhappy, they remain sad.
When I am ill, they feel the weakness.
When I fail, they feel the defeat.
When I cry, they shed tears.
But who are they?
They are my parents.
