Father Poem by Birgitta Abimbola Heikka

Father

Like a river,
his spirit flowed
and overflowed
Fluctuating
as the current
Becalming at low tide
Erupting at high tide
Traveling infinite miles
Converging
Forming confluences
A river
Abounding in spirit
Overflowing its boundaries,
Goran.
