Fear - Poem by michele kostelnik

the monster is with me
haunting me down
it looks like a demon clown
look at those eyes so dark and black
in back you see a great smokestack
time seems endless and full of pain
sometimes it makes me feel insane
it is nagging at my heart and mind
it tells me that I will be left behind
but I have protection from one who
died long ago-
his name is Jesus - did you know?

dear MIchelle, this. is a wonderful poem. you describe fear so well with your imaginative power. and finally you shake it off simply professing ur faith in Jesus the Christ. Is it not wonderful. i too am a believer in Jesus. i liked this poem very very much. thank you... (Report) Reply
