Fearless Love Poem by Bree Z Love

Fearless Love

Rating: 5.0

Like some spell, passed down
from African Matriarch, but it's you that donned the crown.
You found a way to my heart, in a trace.
Center and stage, the crowd watches as I danced.
Far from intimidation, I gyrated.
for you, until your spear vibrated.
Making your territorial mark
opening my veiled heart.
I gyrated, fearlessly,
as you captured me.
Forbidden due to separation; yet you came for me.
Fearlessly, I submitted and committed adultery.
I gyrated, fearlessly,
as you captured me.
Within, the territorial war zone, battle
I cried out for you, my dance more like a rattle.
Fear, almost raped me.
However, your strength would fight for me and free me.
Almost, laid to rest in an adobe tomb,
I still felt the drum and it's boom.
I gyrated fearlessly,
as you captured me.
My Warrior, stood undefeated, until the end.
we sat still and stared at the spear bent.
