Feathered Love Poem by Julia Miller

Feathered Love

If looks and touches were enough
If words weren't necessary to breed love,
I'd fall for you, fast and hard,
Instead of this gentle feather, flitting around,
Your face sincere,
Your intentions clear,
And in the excitement of a kiss,
I forget something is amiss,
But love can't grow in silence.
