Where has the old me gone?
lost in a February day
I can't tell you how long it will be
until I know if he's come back to me.

Where is that simple day
before colours broke into shades?
and how did I ever fade
into these feelings of nothingness?

I never want to let you down
but please forgive me if i slip away
When all that I've known is lost
I promise I will come back to you… one day
My morning is waking up not knowing who I lay with
and sometimes it is just not enough.

All the love you need is
right there in front of your eyes
And I never want to let you down
but forgive me if I slip away
sometimes it's hard to recognise my feelings
sometimes there are none to feel
Because I keep on falling,
as I try to get away from this
feeling of indifference that you've given me.

Where has that old me gone?
