Feed My Sheep Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Feed My Sheep

Rating: 5.0

Feed my sheep, my precious flock,
For they are weary from their daily walk.
With gentle hands and loving care,
Provide for them, this is your prayer.
Their bellies full, their hearts content,
For they are yours, this is your intent.
Lead them to the greenest pastures,
Where they can rest in peaceful rapture.
Protect them from the wolves and thieves,
For they are defenseless, but you believe.
Nurture them with tenderness and grace,
For they are your responsibility, in this place.
Feed my sheep, oh faithful shepherd,
For in their safety, your soul is gathered.
For they are not just animals, but a part of me,
So care for them, with love and empathy.
And when the sun sets in the sky,
They'll lay down to sleep, with a contented sigh.
For you have fulfilled your duty, with all your might,
And in my eyes, you are a shining light.
Feed my sheep, my dear friend,
And your blessings from heaven will never end.
