Feeding Legions Poor Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Feeding Legions Poor

when if Jesus asks when
did I feed his legions poor
I shall promptly reply

I tried
to feed
their souls

warm their hearts
quench their thirst
hold their cold hands

I gave time money clothing food
I prayed for relief for their pains
yet still I sadly so sadly wondered

why you Jesus
feed
so few poor?
