Feeding With What I Earn By Means Of Declining Morality!

If the body is going to exist strongly for long
Even by feeding myself with what I earn
By means of declining morality and modesty,
Let me live with the disgraceful job of begging,
by giving away the rarest ornament of my dignity!
Doing virtuous deeds is the only means of living
That keeps your fame live longer and for ever!

மான அருங்கலம் நீக்கி இரவென்னும்
ஈன இளிவினால் வாழ்வேன்மன் - ஈனத்தால்
ஊட்டியக் கண்ணும் உறுதிசேர்ந் திவ்வுடம்பு
நீட்டித்து நிற்கும் எனின்.40
