Feel The Warmth Poem by Monica O'Connor

Feel The Warmth

Rating: 4.5

September 16,2008

silly girl. she knows nothing, sees nothing beyond an arms length. shes brutally alone, and selfish for feeling so. its her own sheltering that does her in. she wants so badly to breathe, to taste the bliss everyone shares, and she lays still, waiting. she sees he wants to share her warmth, to give her his, simply just to be. and she hides in fear of love.

but who said anything about love?

she wonders what it is about love that makes people want to hide, not run out and scream it to the world. like in movies.

why isnt life a movie? why does it have to be so much harder? so much more... realistic.

shes growing up. shes scared. shes changed and she sees everything in a new light. nothing is common, and she finds common in the uncommon. and blantantly shes terrified. of whats to come of where she'll go and who she'll end up becoing after is all said and done.

and she doesnt know if she'll be the one to determine that.

Who says life's not a movie? ? It is a movie.. The only difference is this movie can be seen by God only :) Nice write though. Don't worry she's gonna be fine.
