i have not bothered
anymore
remembering you

perhaps it was you
who haggled much for
love and i am
that indifferent kind

of course i uttered
what should not have been
said

deep within is that genuine
desire
for me to really love you

i did not, because i could not
though i much really
tried

dado fitting dado
the groove that never was


i do not think of you
i do not think anymore
i just live

what choice do i have?
there is no such thing as ceasing
to be me

i just live what everyday is
all about
in climbing this mountain of
life
you do not look up the cliff
you do not look down the ground
you just hold on
to what your hands can grip
feeling rocks
all present....
