Feelings Unnoticed Poem by Last Wish

Feelings Unnoticed

I lay on my bed starring blankly at the ceiling
The music coming from my phone is all that conveys the way I’m feeling
Growing up never really having friends
Before I thought it best if my life ends
Betrayed by everyone in my past
No one sees the real me for I hide behind a mask
Forty different masks all with the same purpose
To conceal who I really am so no one sees the truth
Its like going to the circus
And paying for their lie at a very crowded booth
The happy clown like me in truth he’s sad and broken
No one hears our Cries of anguish
For we leave those words unspoken
Like mimes cursing at their silhouette
The laughs and smiles from the people we make happy, so thankless
Like offering yourself for someone else’s game of Russian roulette
Through our eyes the world Grey and bleak
No tears to cry so we paint them on our cheek
We don’t look for happiness for we know there’s none to seek
