I Think To Much - Poem by Derek Morningstar

Trying to do my work
Though in my head distracting thoughts still lurk
Subconsciously fighting to understand who I am
Not able to keep focus like my mind was sprayed with pam
All I see is what’s wrong
Time still plays a sad song
Lost between A minor and major B
Swallowed by its melody
Entranced by every note
Before I know it the bell rings and its time to go
