What did it feel like to walk with Eve’s feet?
In our Fathers beautiful garden;
Trees and bushes baring fruit, and life;
The air humming with natures zesty cry.
As my bare feet tread over the grass
Infused with the dews morning kiss;
They feel like they could be Eve's,
Taking the first human steps over the innocent leaves.
My senses are alert; yet still raw,
And I can feel a hot shiver beating through me.
I am part of the buzz all around,
Hearing nothing, yet aware of every sound.
Oh Eve, are you a part of me?
Is it you that brings out the strengths
And weakness of the opposites in life?
Is it you that separated them with a knowledge filled knife?
A cold jolt brings me back
And once again I stand alone in a dead garden.
Although it's buzzing with creatures, alive;
I am not naturally at one with them or able to thrive
