Felt You - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Sweet dear and love of mine
I have finally risen from a badly needed rest
and my first thought and tender feeling
were of you my Angel so sweet and good.
Of your smile and kind caring concern
I know and feel you have for me.
I felt your love and strength
which helps me in so many ways
I will be able to tell you about in full
when you are here in my loving arms.
As I now sit here listening to Falcos
album Data De Groove that's so sadly out of print
I think of you and send all of my loving care
wishing you were here to lay back with me
and enjoy the music of an album
sadly has been mostly forgotten
but I would love to sit and share with you
I can feel you though and your smile
and that makes me smile too.
I felt you and your deep felt care and love
as soon as I woke up and needed to say
thank you dear and I love you too.
You are my Angel who watches out for me.
You fight for me and I'm so happy and honored
to have this Queens heart giving such
a joyous gift to me.
I adore you sweet one in every way there is.
I wish I could hold and kiss you right now.
I felt you and I still do
and it is the light in my life right now
knowing you are still there and deeply care.
Your love is a truly wonderful thing
that nothing in existence can equal.
You truly are an Angel that God gave
as a gift so beautiful in every way.
I love you dear and send all of it to you
every single moment every night and day.
