Powdered, petted and pampered
These pets are on display
They’re waiting for their moment
So they can run and play
They are cute as little buttons
These dogs are carefully picked
We hope they’ll behave nicely
And no one will get nipped
Straining against their leashes
So anxious now to begin
Every color and every breed
A delightful and colorful blend
Some are decked out
In scarves and little hats
Parading round and round
Perhaps looking for a cat?
Their little hearts are pounding
Aren’t they just so adorable?
Trying to use their best manners
I’m sure no one will be deplorable
Okay, here we go now, guys
Everyone get in line
Tongues out and tails wagging
Not a sweeter pet can you find!
