I have the most exciting place
To tell you all about
If you had been where we had
I know you would rave and shout
I’m sure that you love pies
As most of us surely do
Made from scratch so carefully
For me and yes for you
Field’s Pie Factory is the place
That I am talking about
Pecan pies that melt in your mouth
They are strong and sweet and stout
Browned to a delicious perfection
Crispy on the top
We could eat and eat these pies
Why, we never want to stop
Their sweetness oozes softly
Right between your teeth
The way they crank out these pies
Is almost beyond belief
Then we ate lunch at Spurs
Oh, that too was a treat for sure
If we had started our day out sad
This would certainly have been a cure!
