Few Lines Poem by Ana MARTINEZ

Few Lines

do you feel the coldness amidst the clouds covering the sun
making this day grey absent from your smile?
that's the way my soul is expressing through the wind
following the traces of the emptiness that you left behind...

a few lines to express the memory of the broken hope,
of a promise being made but meant not to last.
One moment heaven is reached and the next hell has arisen
you've always being a demon dressed in garments to disguised.

I could keep going and letting the words accommodate themselves
so when your eyes read them, you can get a glimpse of my mind
though words between us are not needed - these have scape to reach your end
since distance has been present forcing them to come alive in this few lines.

a bit hurt, yes I feel, cause is not fairly deserved,
but for everything there's a price, I guess pain is the price to trust you
and get in return for grace and care; despair and abandonment topped with indifference
- to those which I play blind so I can write this few lines.
