Autumn painter with your palette bright
Paint my day and sketch the night
Look out on a quiet lake
Take some time for goodness sake
Leaves dancing in a fiery blaze
Cloudy skies with a violet haze
A wind that blows through empty stalls
Echoing off hollowed walls
Oh painter, fill my every sight
With all your colors… my soul ignite
