Fifoot Ward At Night Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Fifoot Ward At Night

I awake from my slumbers,
I cannot sleep no more,
As words for this Poem,
Come knocking at my door.

Perhaps when my Mind is empty,
And my thoughts do not think of YOU,
Of how my Faith enduring
Has guided me in all that I do do.

My Life will soon continue,
As into a new flat I shall go,
To live again independently,
But I must take things slow.

The Ward it is quite noisy,
A lady continually crying aloud,
“Daddy” ~ “Daddy” she cries,
Sometimes she cries softly, sometimes quite loud.

My Mind is now flowing,
With Verses in praise of YOU,
YOU know that I shall write them down,
As YOU will guide my Life anew.
