Fight for us
and the love we had in place

Fight for us
If it wasnt all a phase

Fight for us
to be what were were

Fight for all that mattered and more

Let me know that it all wasnt a waste
when I touched your lips with mine and caressed your face

Fight for the peace and content we felt
to hold each other close and never forget

Fight for your heart and the memory of it when it was whole
to know to understand that there was nothing more

Then us fighting for each other
for you for me

Fight for all that could very well be.
