Fill Me Poem by Nancy Handabile

Fill Me

Come with me
Talk to me
Walk with me
Lie next to me
Feel me engulfing you
The very ridges of me
The warmth of my very essence
The liquidity, the fluidity, pushing towards that pulse
The walls closing in

A quick climb, a quick breath, a crescendo of silence as we edge to that steep mount.

Jibber jabber, jibber jabber on and on

How should I paint you?
You as you are
Solid, pulsating
Glorious, slowly rising
Hard, pulsating.

I crave you to fill me
To edge your way in slowly
Heat slowly spreading
To lose your mind
And find yourself
To race faster
As blackness, glorious blackness caves in

I want to feel you
The rivers of you
Pouring, yourself along my shores.

Jibber jabber, jibber jabber on and on
