Filling The Empty Spaces Poem by Stella Andrews

Filling The Empty Spaces

Rating: 5.0

i have a silver locket,
that sits next to my heart.
there's empty spaces in the forein land,
that my locket sits next to.

The empty spaces is from people leaving,
or people who are still to come.
They are for the memories,
i want to keep close and forever.

Theres a shadowy, murky place for my dad that will never come back.
Theres a black part for all the as.sholes that have tried to stab my heart.
And then there are the empty places,
that are yet to be filled.

Theres a white place in my heart,
Waiting to be filled by my first home.
There's places for when i have kids,
For my sisters and brothers kids,

But theres a place in my heart,
That is still being decided wether it will be filled or not.
My silver locket,
With your kiss inside it,

Has become part of my heart.
It sits there,
waiting.
Just waiting until i decide,

If you and you're kiss,
Will fill one of my empty spaces.

If you will be the one,
I fall in love with..
