Filmmaker Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Filmmaker

Filmmaker

I have been to school
Got majors, diplomas
I was told, I was taught
Do this but not that one!

"Hey listen, " want to shout
"I don't like Hollywood; "
"Neither like Bollywood! "

Need to say: "I want fact! "

At home I, as a child
Was told that between hearts
There sure is good's bridge
If takeoff is of heart
Landing port is a
HEART!

I believe in such film
Do not like blocking
Excessive in makeup
No lighting…
Do not want
Do not like

But this world
And tired audience
Or maybe retired
Wants to know
Not knowing
Beer, couch
To relax narcotics!

Do something as I must
I love them; so abide
A hand is here and
Another is elsewhere
My walk is like crow
Sort of jump with flight
Unlike soft and sweet
Walking of partridge!
