It's time for me
To say goodbye
I will be strong
I will not cry

I knew years ago
I couldn't live forever
But I must truly say
I have enjoyed this endeavor

This thing called life
Was oh so great
Being called home
Will soon be everyone's fate

I did my time here on earth
It's time for me to go
But there's just one thing
I need my friends to know

Thank you for your friendship
You bestowed upon me
You made my life enjoyable
Some even made me see

That life is for living
So live it all you can
Because you never know
When you'll see the end

So as I start my journey
Heading back to home
Thank you one and all
For all the love you've shown
