Final Wish - Poem by Shelley Caines

When it's over
Everyone has a final wish.
I wish I could at least
Get one last real kiss.
Your final wish
Should mean something to you
and maybe it should be
Something true.
I wish we weren't over
I wish we weren't through
It will be hard
To get over you
So please just grant me
my final wish.
I wish I could get
One last real kiss.

That really is not a bad trick, unfortunately it hardly ever works (to reverse things)
    Good poem, bad tactic.
