Finally Listening
He spoke, I woke
but I still wasn’t listening
A fire! A flood!
A palpable misery
He’s there! Not here!
And I’m still not listening
I’m lost! I’m lost!
When will He find me?
I’m listening! Finally listening!
And I think I can barely
hear Him.

I can barely hear Him
