Finding A Way Poem by T. Alfred Norman

Finding A Way

A labyrinth of loops and tangles
To fear, leading lives through
Lost Pastures, as panic sets in.

Look again, as the walls seem
To move in around you, crowding
Your movement, your space,
Your ability to think or believe.

Gaze, O heathen, at the gloomy trap
That you are a guest of, the end is death,
Why are you never at rest with His Love?

There is no comfort for the stone
You call a heart. Eternity departed
Isolation and darkness, a just verdict.

Oh, but a pleasant breeze brings us back
To our sanity once lost in the silence
Of a million years during our ephemeral moments
Upon this earth, situations, doubts, fears, opponents.

Only a question comes to mind, as some
May be indifferent, too busy, unbelieving, or careless
To inquire, This Light in the darkness of our Journey
For those who ignore it 'Where do they go'
When their time has expired?

A revelation brightens the spirit of anyone,
Catharsis, epiphany, a vision within me
Welcomes the ones who yield up their pride
For humility practiced makes the Order right.

Very inspiring as a poem. This will reinforce the believers and for the doubters will serve as an 'eye opener' perhaps a chance to retrospect once again. Well penned! Always God Bless You.
