Dreams Of Paradise Poem by T. Alfred Norman

Dreams Of Paradise

Rating: 5.0

Listen to the laughter by the ocean
Listen - the children are rejoicing.

As though incarnate birds chirping
under the Son's blood-soaked sky
The floods of the earth melt away
And reflect the rays from waters pure

Exposing new shores that greet and say hello, then
Goodbye, waving welcome to your gaze
With smiles assuring every thing you ever knew
Was True.

In the tides rising up to kiss the sands of time,
Whilst whispering words of universes sublime
Go inspiration, sold golden to your ears buying
Come the muses of a soul floating to oblivion.

Clouds cry as you pass by and those tears
Joyfully leak from the sky with love,
In the moment it realized you were never thought of.

Oh but Love, shining forth from the North
Retreat your Heart that keeps a part
For one worthy of its treasures to find,
Some brave immortal blessed enough to possess.

Those orange eyes reflecting your mood as a mirror,
Showing the smooth gentility of waters but clearer
Rippled in eternity, certain memories of hope make their way
While moments and days seems to slip through the waves.

Time sails out to Paradise upon Horizon,
A journey leaves him lost to longevity,
This life and all its dreams bid congratulations,
To Mother Nature and her narrow Victory.

Seems I am reading the poem of a 'seasoned poet'. I am very impressed with the analogy and the rythm of the thought. The command for the words is very appropriate. Well penned.
