Peace can't be found just anywhere,
Not on the vast, open plain,
Nor ever on any babbling brook,
Nor on the hostile main.
But often, through a spiritual force
Sluggishly moving over one's pain,
Searching for a formula of a peace
That overwhelms the heart and brain.
