Finding Serenity Poem by Randy McClave

Finding Serenity

I walk and trek alone In serenity
Alone it is only me,
While strolling upon the long forgotten farm
With me nature is arm in arm.
I walk past the ponds and the creeks
I am the only person exploring there,
Tucked away inside the forest of trees
I take my first breath of the morning air.

As I walk alone in quiet solitude
There shines the sky of blue and grass of green,
Which my soul can't and won't allude
To which only few have ever truly seen.
Seeking grace in every step that I take
My cluttered city mind tries to understand,
As I come unto a peace by a lost lake
I now understand the beauty God created with his hand.
