Finding Peace With God Poem by Randy McClave

Finding Peace With God

She told me that she hopes I become a billionaire
And that all of my wishes would always come true,
Then I would find peace and happiness, everywhere
And never again, would I be and feel sad and blue.
She told me she hoped for me to always wake up with a grin
Never again waking up to those terrible nightmares,
And always joyfully remembering where I have been
And not remembering people without consciences or cares.
She hoped again that I would never get falsely blamed
And never again get screamed, or shouted at,
Never no more having the feelings of being mocked and shamed
And my hands not knocked away like a pestering gnat.
She told me again that she hoped that I do not get used
By a person that I have truly loved and also cared for,
Never again she hoped would I get mentally and spiritually abused
From someone that I have loved and did adore.
She then happily walked away from me, hopefully forever
I guess from her statements and words she wanted me to applaud,
But, then I realized she never cared for me in our own endeavor
I then told her sincerely, I hoped that she finds peace, and God.
