Finding Your Romeo Or Juliet... Poem by Denis Martindale

Respect the times to reminisce, remember and recall,
Experience that perfect bliss when true love says it all.
That Romeo or Juliet who proved more than a friend,
Love started on the day you met, so you would comprehend.
Was it a winning smile you saw, and acts of kindness, too?
Was it the wish for even more that stirred inside of you?

Was it the way you both took time delaying when to part?
Was it the prayer that seemed sublime that blossomed in your heart?
Was it the time for happiness to call your very own?
Or loneliness that made you guess, through hours spent alone?
I know the times I've loved and lost, not once, but fifty more,
I've been compelled to count the cost if God I should ignore.

The King of Love, who reigns above, knows every heart's intent!
Good luck to those who find true love that's truly Heaven-sent!
That Romeo or Juliet could mean the world to you,
But I suggest you don't forget what God wants you to do!
