Fire Poem by Nikhail Pandhi

Fire

Rating: 5.0

Lay not your blazing shadow
Upon my wife’s insipid body
I have touched her all over already
She is not barren for you to assault

Don’t disturb her contemplation on the pyre
Melt not, her womanhood
I have explored it in depth already
She is no more a beacon of chastity

Don’t find your way to her womb
Kindle not her magical powers
I have exhausted them beyond use already
She is no more competent for your desires

Don’t turn her fruit-breasts to ash
Tickle not her lithe frame
I have caressed it like a monster already
She will not laugh now when you stroke

Don’t scorch her wedding dress
Scar not, her skin of porcelain
I have scarred it already with bites galore
She will not wince now when you prick

Lay not your blazing shadow
Upon my wife’s insipid body
I have touched her all over already
She is not barren for you to assault
