Fire For Fire I Requited

And fire for fire
I requited,
Rough for rough
I tendered on
and on.
Face for face
I clouded
there-on,
Hot for hot
I resolved to
pose on.
Muscle for muscle
I lingered to fire-on,
And to the
hopeless demons
of the earth,
I earthquaked and
earthquaked.
Even and even,
With the blasting
thunder of the
Holyspirit.
