Fire Within A Rose Poem by Arun Maji

Fire Within A Rose

Rating: 4.8

Don't just touch me o Love
Don't just touch me.
Tease me, twist me, torture me;
I want it to hurt, ache in agony.
I want to shiver in pleasure
And twist in delightful desire.

Don't just stroke me o love
Don't just stroke me.
Burn me, scald me, annihilate me.
I want to feel flaming fire
Fiercely flourishing in every corner.

Don't just kiss me o love
Don't just kiss me.
Pain me, bite me, swallow me.
I want your wetness to wet me
I want your sweetness to sweeten me
I want your fire to ignite me
I want your cruelty to arouse me.

Kiss me. Arouse me. Free me.
Free me from my shyness, my sadness,
My emptiness, my aloneness.
In your beastly desire
Let me find my freedom and happiness.
In your insatiable hunger
Let me find my preciousness, worthiness.

O wolf, o love, o my divine beast
Pound me, eat me, swallow me.
What more could I ask you
Than your hunger burning me?
