Firing Desire Poem by Aaron Combs

Firing Desire

Rating: 5.0

Enduring love, an effervescing flame
prevail in open air, we merge a whole
Aware from darker depths to press a claim
For love we know infused of passion’s role.

Our wild love soars aloft, intensifies
In bands of scented smoke to grand ascent,
Its vastness speaks at ease beyond the skies;
Desires are quenched in fires of merriment.

In angel’s pose the pure suspense of Love
Ignites a flare to radiate our course,
From journey’s end to whence it rose above
Horizon’s edge, returned to once sparked source.

Leaving, subdued tinder flame aspiring,
Their avid souls once more are firing.
