Everything was quiet before you came in,
like life was moving but barely living.
Then suddenly something shifted the air,
like I didn't know I was missing you there.
You didn't arrive with warning or sound,
just a presence that pulled me down.
Not in a bad way, not at the start—
just something that settled into my heart.
You spoke like you already knew my name,
like I wasn't meant to stay the same.
And I didn't question, I didn't resist,
I just leaned into the way it felt like this.
It felt like peace, it felt like fate,
like something I wasn't supposed to escape.
And I didn't see what it would become—
I only knew I had finally found someone.
