First Home (Part 2) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

First Home (Part 2)

The mouth shut to food
I feed
Nose functions not
I lack not air
Fists clenched
I itch not

For battle future
Nature equips me
With tools
For the task onerous
In another Horizon

My first home
Home of peace
Of quiet and blackness
And of love

Deep down the dark
I lay in mama's sac
One in another
Two in love
A home of mystery
