First Time
A mask of uncertainty
Fear and excitement mingling
Propelled by joy of adventure
Is a first time
A child's wobbling steps
Incoherent blabbering attempts
And meaningless scribbling
Betters and matures with time
The scary look now
Tinged in anticipation
Will surely attract little pains
Subdued by simultaneous sweet sensation
The joy of conquering fear.
