First Love Poem by Laura Anne

First Love

Rating: 5.0

I miss the days that past; I thought they’d always last
We were to grow old together not far apart
You made me laugh, you made me cry, you made me want to run and hide
I wanted to be that special one, the one you’d rush home to
Always too busy, always to tired, always something
And then…
You moved on so fast, seems like without a second glance
I miss your smile, I miss your laugh, and I miss the way you used to look at me
But you have your new life and I have mine
Separated at first by hate, we share a bond that no one can ever break
I’ll never regret the love we shared and I’ll never forget
