Fish And Man Poem by kedrix Udjoe

Fish And Man

Rating: 5.0

Every morning that I wake
I will go to my uncle's fish pond
to watch, observe and stroll
I realized that
They are free swimming as well interact
But still
Some are big and some small
Some get bigger and some smaller every day
It's just like human beings
The survival of the fittest
The nature and the way
Who knows if:
They are humans?
They believe in superstitions and reincarnation?
They have similar human activities?
Markets,
Where they buy and sell goods and services
Schools
Where they teach wisdom like man
Also if they have
Religion and ethics?
And different denominations too?
Do they have tracks and roads for transportation?
Who knows
If they have all these?

In there minds
They are really free
They make decisions and find solutions to there problems
May be, they pray to theigods
For shelter, clothing, feeding and healthy living
But not aware;
What is really in the mind of there gods
Whether their god's have God
whether their gods choose their parts for them
And all they struggle and toil for:
Big or small
Smart or dull
Introvert or extrovert
Rich or poor
Black or White
Bourgeois or proletariat
And all these are hindered
By the activities of their owners
Who will say one day;
Bring that one for me
For lunch or for supper

Not minding whether
they are dull or smart
Big or small
introvert or extrovert
Rich or poor
Black or white
bourgeois or proletariat
But taking them as he will

Part 2. And Earnest Hemingway said in The Old Man and TheSea": "" They (the fish) are not as intelligent as we who kill them; although they are more noble and more able.-""

Let me quote, " They believe in superstitions and reincarnation? They have similar human activities? "" I would say YES. Do you know that the very first incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the Supreme God of Hindus is as Matsy, The Fish.

A prudent work that needs serious introspection especially when we put spotlight on humanity that goes beyond Darwin's theory! Underlying philosophy is praiseworthy!
