Fishing Till Dusk - Poem by Marilyn Lott
Have you ever spent time on a fishing dock?
Just casting away with a sound of ker plop?
The bobber goes down and your heart beats fast
Then you pull up a fish with a sigh - at last.
Or perhaps you go out in a small row boat
In the cool of the morning, your heart full of hope.
It is so much fun you stay and fish all day
For a relaxing time it is the perfect way.
Time melts away and you simply lose track
The sun's going down and you must get back
You hate to leave but you know you must
Such enjoyment fishing from morning till dusk!
